A video circulating on social media has sparked outrage after showing U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents allegedly crashing into a civilian vehicle before forcibly removing and arresting the driver who was later confirmed to be a U.S. citizen.
The incident, reportedly filmed in a residential neighborhood, shows ICE officers in tactical gear approaching a black sedan. Moments later, one officer is seen leaning into the vehicle and pulling the driver out, while another secures the perimeter. Eyewitnesses claim the agents did not identify themselves before initiating the arrest.
The video, shared by Mirror US, includes the caption: “They can't keep getting away with this 😡”, reflecting growing public frustration over ICE’s aggressive tactics. Civil rights advocates have condemned the incident, calling it a “gross misuse of authority” and demanding accountability.
ICE has not released an official statement regarding the arrest or the circumstances leading up to the crash. Legal experts warn that if the driver’s citizenship status was known prior to the stop, the agency could face serious legal consequences.
This event adds to a growing list of controversial ICE operations that have drawn criticism for targeting individuals without proper cause. Advocacy groups are urging Congress to investigate and implement stricter oversight of immigration enforcement practices.
